Hack4CivicGood – C4A, Mobile Web Ghana & Peace Corps Hackathon (BIS) Part II

Coders4Africa, Mobile Web Ghana and Peace Corps Ghana are organizing a part II hackathon on the 27th and 28th of July as a CONTINUATION of the one they held on June 1st-2nd 2013. “Hack4Civic Good” will operate in a 48-hour coding session with the purpose of completing (from the first hackathon) the mobile applications (already worked on) dedicated to societal good. There is a prospect of building new APPs as well. The event will be hosted at the Mobile Web Ghana lab in Accra, Ghana.

Coders will continue building the already started Android Applications including a language learning application: The Celebrate Language Audio Project (CLAP)”. We will also be creating an app to increase malaria awareness according to the specifications of Peace Corps Ghana’s SWAT Malaria team. We are inviting all the savvy Android developers in Ghana to take part on this. This is a first come first serve basis basis and 40 seats will be available.
