1. Africa Digital Skills Conference
Target: $20,000 For the past 6 years, the Africa Digital Skills Conference has empowered young people across the continent with the practical digital skills needed to thrive in today’s economy. What began as a small initiative has grown into a global movement, with participation from 11,000+ learners, 240+ expert trainers, and audiences tuning in from 105+ countries. Each year, the conference brings together 2,000+ young people, digital professionals, and policymakers for hands-on workshops, mentorship, and panel discussions led by industry leaders. 2. Online Work Africa Summit
Target: $20,000 This virtual summit exposes African youth to remote work opportunities, freelancing platforms, and career development tools. We bring in experts and online work success stories to educate and inspire. In 2024, 1,800+ participants attended from 15 African countries. Your support helps us:
Target: $20,000 We're launching school-based clubs and community AI cafés to make Artificial Intelligence approachable and exciting. These safe spaces will help young people, especially girls learn AI concepts through storytelling, games, and real-life projects. Only 10% of tech students we work with feel confident understanding AI. This initiative will change that. Funds will go toward:
Target: $15,000 An annual national competition that encourages girls in Junior High Schools to embrace Mathematics through pageantry. This initiative goes beyond a mere competition, it’s a mentoring journey filled with confidence-building, role modeling, and celebration of girls excelling in STEM. 92% of past participants said the experience changed how they see themselves in STEM.
