If you are a developer, an aspiring entrepreneur, a French student or teacher, here is an opportunity to participate in the first French & digital innovation hackathon. The Institut Français of the French Embassy is organizing a hackathon on the topic “French and Digital innovation” on 1st and 2nd June.
The objective of the hackathon is:
- To promote a dynamic image of the French language
- To develop a useful product for teachers and learners
- To sensitize teachers of this digital tool and diverse teaching practices.
The competition will bring together candidates with different expertise and skills: 2 developers and 2 teachers or students with a limited time (12 hours).
Each team will develop a concept of an application under the theme: Developing helpful tools for the teaching of French in Ghana (general or professional).
A PowerPoint slide of the application would be presented at the end
Venue: Lucas College (Achimota Road, opposite Perez Chapel)
There are winning prizes available for all who excel brilliantly. The first prize is 3000 Gh. Cedis and the winner will have the opportunity of developing the app. You can make further inquiries and registrations via culture.ifg@gmail. Inquiries and registrations should be made before 21st May.
