Mobile Web Ghana at the Ga East Early Grade Literacy Fair

Mobile Web Ghana and the American Corner, Agbogba, were thrilled to support the #LiteracyFair organized by the GA EAST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY Education Directorate. The event was a vibrant celebration of reading, bringing together educators, students, and community leaders to cultivate a love for books among young pupils.

The Literacy Fair was an inspiring event, filled with activities designed to foster a love for reading among young students. With over 300 participants in attendance, the fair was a lively hub of educational engagement and community spirit. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as students explored a variety of books and reading materials, participated in interactive reading sessions, and connected with peers and educators who share a passion for literacy.

The event featured notable remarks from key figures, including the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Mrs. Deborah Ampofo, and His Excellency Amb. Mike Oquaye Jnr. A representative from the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service also delivered inspiring words on the importance of early grade literacy. Their speeches highlighted the collective commitment to improving literacy rates and emphasized the crucial role that reading plays in the educational development of young minds.
