Digital Marketing Bootcamp

Overview

Digital Marketers support marketing actions across a wide variety of industries and companies, performing tasks related to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and creating digital content on web and social media platforms. They also assist in analysing, monitoring, and tracking the success of digital marketing campaigns.

With our free-of-charge, 13 or 14-week bootcamp, we’ll provide you with the launchpad to begin your career as a Digital Marketer. Additionally, we will provide you with access to secure an in-office job or support you with freelance remote work opportunities.

  • Of all genders living in Ghana (Greater Accra, Kumasi, and Tamale) and Nigeria (Abuja).
  • Interested in solving problems through a combination of creativity and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, and open to learning how to use new software programmes (Canva, WordPress, etc.).
  • Passionate about serving clients (either as a freelancer or full-time employee in an agency environment).
  • Actively looking for a job or planning a career transition into tech.
  • Ready to engage in a structured gig-acquisition, job search, and placement process post-training.
  • Want support with job applications, portfolio submission interviews, and employer engagement.

Requirements

  • In-person (Accra or Kumasi): MON to FRI, 9 am to 4 pm (13 weeks + placement).
  • Online (Accra, Tamale, Abuja): MON to FRI, 9 am to 5 pm (14 weeks + placement).
  • Aged 18-35 years old.
  • Senior High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience OR a degree/certification with completed National Service.
  • Legal right to work and live in Ghana or Nigeria (based on location).
  • Does not hold a full-time job or a part-time job of more than 25 hours per week.
  • Exclusive for people who didn’t complete previous Generation Ghana programmes.

Program Delivery Outline

Phase 1 – Training Phase (13 weeks in-person or 14 weeks online)

Build practical, in-demand skills in Digital Marketing, with a strong focus on real-world application. You will develop core competencies, work on hands-on projects, and build a professional portfolio.

Format: 100% online (Accra, Tamale, Abuja) / 100% in-person (Accra & Kumasi) | 40 hours/week

Phase 2 – Placement Phase

Enter a dedicated placement sprint focused on securing employment. This includes direct employer engagement, structured job-search strategy, CV optimization, and mock interviews.

What Does a Digital Marketer Do?

Key responsibilities across industries include executing initiatives through online presence.

Marketing Campaign Execution

Assist in developing strategies; create/monitor social media and email campaigns; apply SEO/SEM strategies; strengthen client and affiliate relationships.

Research

Conduct market research; select effective digital channels; research new online media opportunities including mobile, blogs, and forums.

Content Creation

Create, edit, and upload multimedia content for websites and social media; write engaging content for blogs and online audiences.

Analytics & Optimisation

Track and analyze data against KPIs; assess Return on Investment (ROI); recommend marketing actions based on data insights.
