Coders4Africa, Mobile Web Ghana and Peace Corps Ghana will be taking part in a global 2 day hackathon event on June 1st-2nd. “Hack4Civic Good” will operate in a 48-hour coding session with the purpose of creating mobile applications dedicated to societal good. The event will be hosted at the Mobile Web Ghana lab in Accra, Ghana.

Coders will build an Android Application for proposed language learning.To continue work on “The Celebrate Language Audio Project (CLAP)”, which has an aim to provide a platform for the rapid development of language lessons for any given culture. In collaboration with Volunteers in Ghana and Mali, the Peace Corps has implemented this project for 11 different languages.

We are inviting all the savvy Android developers in Ghana to take part on this. This is a first come first serve basis basis and 20 seats will be available.
