Celebrating #GreenGhanaDay at Papao Community Presby Basic School

 

Planting trees is more than just an act of beautifying our surroundings; it is a crucial step in combating climate change, preserving biodiversity, and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. The spirit of environmental stewardship was in full bloom at Papao Community Presby Basic School, where Mobile Web Ghana and the American Corner, Agbogba, in collaboration with Farm Radio Ghana and Conservation Alliance International Ghana, celebrated #GreenGhanaDay with a vibrant and educational event. 

The event was a lively mix of tree planting, songs, and enlightening educational sessions. Students, teachers, and community members came together to plant trees, a symbolic and practical action to combat climate change and preserve our planet’s biodiversity. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as participants engaged in activities that highlighted the critical role trees play in maintaining ecological balance

This event showcased the power of collaboration between civil society organizations (CSOs). Mobile Web Ghana, Farm Radio Ghana, and Conservation Alliance International Ghana exemplified how joint efforts can amplify impact. By combining resources, expertise, and community reach, these organizations demonstrated that working together can drive meaningful change in the fight against climate change.
