Women In Tech Week 2017 – Festival of Technology and Women Leadership

As part of its ‘Women In Tech Week’, Women in Tech Africa is having a series of events throughout the week starting from 19th September to 23rd September 2017. Two of those events will be held at Mobile Web Ghana on the 19th and 20th of September. The first is the ‘Leadership Day’ and the speakers are Florence Dadzie (Managing Partner, FA Business Support Services) and Mrs. Loretta Benson (Unit Head of Corporate Solutions, Access Bank). The second event which is on the 20th of September is the ‘Mobile and Digital Commerce Day’. The speakers of this event are  Dr. Kester Quist and Nana Peprah (Founder, Ghana Tech). Both events will start at exactly 4:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm.

 

The week-long festival is the flagship festive event of Women In Tech Africa. It is an annual event that is celebrated simultaneously all over the world. Last year, the following countries celebrated the festival: Kenya, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja), Ethiopia, Botswana, Mauritius, Cape Verde, Canada, China, Belgium, Ireland and Britain.

This year’s festive occasion will also see new additions of Chapters:

  5. DR Congo
  6. France
  7. Spain,
  8. Germany
  9. China
  10. Canada

The festival will bring together women and girls in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship and provide a platform to interact, network and share ideas on Technology, Entrepreneurship, Work-life balance, and LeadershipDo find your way to Mobile Web Ghana for the first two days of the Women In Tech Week festival and make it a point to attend the other events for the rest of the week.
